Sarah's Blog

So...I'm Sarah.  I look like this .  Don't let that scare you away...

I'm 25, which makes me old, which makes me boring - so I won't try and pretend my life is a non-stop Nelly video (Plus you try waking up at 4:00 every morning!)  I love my job, in spite of the idiots who call in who clearly have never used a phone before.  When I'm not working, I'm normally at the park playing my geetar, day drinking or both.

I Had No Childhood

It's National Peanut Butter and Jelly Day.

29 Ways To Honor The Glory Of Peanut Butter And Jelly

This means nothing to me.

I've never had a Peanut Butter & Jelly. Ever.  Now that I'm an old fart and could make a peanut butter and jelly if I really wanted one, I choose not to because it seems weird. Foreign to me. The jelly texture seems odd and unnatural.  But I still feel like I'm missing out on an important part of American Life.  Much like I felt until last week when I built my very first snowman!

I know, right?

So yeah.  I'm 25+1 and have never eaten a Peanut Butter & Jelly.  I've also never seen Are You Afraid of the Dark? or Forrest Gump.  But after the great feeling I got from building my BAMF snowman, I think I'm gonna have to remedy this.  I'm gonna eat my first peanut butter and jelly.  Today.

I'll keep you posted...

Bye Bye Bynes

Oh how far the adorable have fallen.

Amanda Bynes rapid spiral into Trainwreckdom is inceredibly disheartening seeing as how just a couple years ago she was just about the only child star to still be normal.  But now looking in hindsight to the crazy that is/was/has always been Amanda Bynes, we should have noticed the warning signs.
Check out the weird yet hilarious Best Of Twitter from Amanda's now defunct Twitter handle...

So...I'm Obsessed...

As a self-proclaimed Music Junkie, I constantly am finding new bands that I'll fall in love with for like 2 weeks and then move on to the next one.  However, the band Imagine Dragons has been constantly pumped out of my blown-out car speakers all summer long so I feel like they might be worthy of a lil promotion.

They're a group from Las Vegas and they released a bomb-diggity EP earlier this year and their first full album just came out this week and is Dragonbelievable! (See what I did there?) AND they'll be opening for AWOLNATION at The Pageant Sept 22 as well if you like what you hear.  I'll be there.  We can shoot shots.

Listen up homies!

This an a live, acoustic version of the hit single which you have probably heard all over the place all summer.  This version is really good too.

'Radioactive' is Bondsy's favorite off the EP and is available by request on Kiss.  And, added bonus - the bass will make your booty vibrate when you crank it in the car.

I 'imagine' this song will be relatively mainstream in a matter of months.  It's so darn happy, and this behind-the-scenes video for it is a lil fun.

The whole album, Night Visions, is darn good.  Check it out!
