I Want to Lose Weight because...I want to teach my children how to live a healthy lifestyle. As a RN I feel like a hypocrite sometimes educating my patients on the importance of diet and exercise. In addition to that, I have four main reasons for losing weight. Their names are Julian age 6, Elli age 5, Amelie age 3, and Oliver age 1.
Having four pregnancies and four c-sections in less than 6 years really took a toll on my body. I gained over 100 lbs from my first to the fourth and started out overweight to begin with. I have been working really hard to lose weight over the past year since giving birth to our last baby. I have been able to push my body to do things I didn't think possible, This summer alone, I completed The Warrior Dash, Women's Distance Festival, and the Susan G. Komen 3 Day 60 mile Walk. I love the feeling of crossing that finish line no matter how long it took me to get there. The point is I finished.
However, in the past couple of months I have hit a plateau and the weight just is not coming off anymore. I am positive that with the help of the 12 Week Weight Loss Package I can break through this plateau. After delivering our fourth child last August, I gave myself a goal of losing 100 lbs by 12/31/12. Since August 10, 2011, I have lost 77 lbs. I need to lose 23 lbs by 12/31/12 to reach my goal. I know that between the experts at Fit Club and my own determination, this goal is totally attainable! Once I reach my 100 lb goal, I will still need to lose about 60 lbs to reach my ultimate goal and be at a healthy BMI.
