Lisa's Story
I
I Want to Lose Weight because I want to lead by example. I am a 28 year old breast cancer survivor and one of the ways to decrease your risk is to stay fit and lead a healthy lifestyle. Well, I can no longer call this baby weight as my daughter will be turning 5 in December.
I gained 50 lbs with my pregnancy and only lost 20 of it. I would love to get back to my pre-pregnancy self, and maybe even better! I need to rebuild my strength and energy and set an example for the women I try to educate about breast cancer awareness. I am ready to feel and look normal again.
I have the hardest time setting time aside for myself to exercise but I work from home and am in control of my own schedule so I shouldn't have any excuses! I rocked cancer and now I want to have a rocking body to match how I feel inside.
Please please consider me for the challenge because I want to prove to myself that I can do it and to any survivor that if they can overcome cancer they can overcome anything.
