C-NOTE JOURNAL- THE FOODS WE EAT

On the Morning Grind you hear about some of the foods I eat, and some of those foods are not really that healthy and there are times I consume a ton of calories. Some days I can eat around 1, 500 calories and other days it goes above 2,000 calories. Since I also work at Steak and Shake as a busser moving around burning lots of calories, how many calories do you think I should be taking in? Well I was told that it should be around the 2,000 calorie range. But what foods should I be eating? In looking at the Steak and Shake menu, it was recommended that eat Grilled chicken, Turkey club  and Spicy chicken sandwiches. For eating of chili, its recommended that I eat a small and not a large bowl, a Grilled Chicken salad, small garden salad with the Reduced fat berry balsamic vinigrette dressing. Best drink is Coke zero, and as for steakburgers, it is recommended that I have either the single steakburger or the single steakburger with cheese. And you all know I love soup, particularly the Broc and Cheese, good tasting but more calories. Vegetable soup was recommended, and when I asked about whether it matters if its a cup of bowl, even though a cup overall is best but can get Vegetable beef soup in either a cup or a bowl. If you are watching your calories as I am, follow these simple tips, you'll lose weight and feel better overall.
