My name is Brandi Booker and I graduated from the University of Illinois aka the BEST COLLEGE EVER!GO ILLINI! I have lived in the Springfield area my whole life. I'm very outgoing and love to talk! Surprise, surprise! I believe that laughter is a cure for everything and to never take yourself too seriously.
Things I enjoy in life-
Family.Friends.reading gossip magazines.bargain shopping. smores on a bonfire. taking pictures. sushi. coffee. costume jewelry. Youtube. debating. Zumba. a great pair of heels. buying tons of nail polish. reading. designing website graphics. spray tans. naps. running. wine. St Jude Children's Research Hospital. scented candles. decorating my house.
HOWEVER, I have a few obsessions that prevail over everything:
1. Bon Jovi It might be the feathered hair, or the awesome music .but either way I Love, love ,love him no matter what people say. I will be the girl that screams, dances and sings in the middle of the bar if I hear "Livin on a Prayer" or "Blaze of Glory". Yep I'm that girl! 2. Cheese I eat cheese on EVERYTHING!!
3. Any Crime Show on TV or any program on the Discovery Channel! Yup I can be a big dork and watch these types of programs for hours! Hey I guess I'm learning something while I am watching the tube!
4. Vanilla Scented ANYTHING! Yummy!
5. Dancing I love to dance. I have been dancing since the time I was 2 years old and not only love to do it, but I love watching dance competitions and ballets!
6.BRITNEY SPEARS If I hear a Britney Spears song, see one of her videos or even see a picture of her I will drop what I am doing to devote all my attention to the Pop Queen! MY FAVORITE!

Over the weekend I went to the movie theater to see the action-fantasy flick, Sucker Punch. I admit I was not excited to see this movie at all. I thought it would be just another action flick that my boyfriend was dragging me to. Needless to say my expectations were VERY LOW! Wow was I wrong. Sucker Punch blew me away. First off let me say Sucker Punch dealt with some pretty deep, deep issues. It was a movie that kept me on my toes. I sat in the movie theater trying to figure out the ending and what was coming next. I love when movies keep me guessing and are unpredictable. The special effects of this movie were amazing. In addition, the movie soundtrack was equally amazing! Overall I would recommend this movie. Great effects, great plot and some pretty great action scenes. Plus, now I know what every girl will be dressed as for Halloween!
I buy lottery tickets all the time hoping I hit the jackpot and I never seem to strike it rich. Yet one Chicago man bought a lotto ticket and then misplaced it. He found the ticket while preparing his taxes and decided to check the numbers on the ticket. And GUESS WHAT? The Ticket was worth $9 million dollars!!! LUCKY! But the man is even more lucky on his timing to check the ticket because the ticket was set to expire at 5pm that DAY! VERY LUCKY!! Check out the story HERE

I know the saying is "Beauty is pain" but I am going to pass on the pain of leeches sucking my blood!!
One of my Favoirte all times movies is The Goonies!! As a child I watched this movie so many times my parents had to buy me a second VHS tape of the movie because the tape got ruined from so much use! A character that always made me laugh was CHUNK! So I was very excited to see this "One Trick Ponies" article featured on Wonderwall. It showcases where some of the most memorable one hit wonders are today. So what is "Chunk" up to these days? It is no secret that I am reality TV junkie. Whether it is the Real Housewives, Bad Girls Club, Keeping Up with the Kardashians I am glued to the TV taking in all of the drama these "reality shows" bring . I never thought of these programs as "educational" by any means! However, if I was taking the SAT maybe my excessive watching of reality of television would have been useful. Why?
Well incoming college students taking the SATs were asked to answer a question about reality television during their test. The question: "How authentic can [reality TV] shows be when producers design challenges for the participants and then editors alter filmed scenes?"

In case you missed it, this is the first non-paparazzi photo from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1. Director Bill Condon posted the photo on the official Twitter page on November 25th as a Thanksgiving gifts to all the Twihards.
SPOLIER ALERT( if you haven't read the book): The picture is a snapshot from the honeymoon scene where Edward bites a pillow, or two, instead of Bella's neck during their first night together, hence the feathers. HOW ROMANTIC! HAHA At least that is what the book leads us to believe. We will just have to wait till November 18, 2011 to see what this picture really means!
