According to Marshall's record label and confirmed by Nielsen SoundScan, Em's new album Recovery has grossed the biggest debut of any album this year, 741,000 copies sold!! And apparently, it's the best album debut-week since AC/DC's 2008 album Black Ice, which sold 784,000 in it's first week. I think the craziest part of the whole thing is that AC/DC's album was almost 20 years in the making, whereas Eminem just released Relapse last year. I've heard very mixed reviews of Recovery, seems as though people really love it or really hate it... Have you heard it? Lemme know what you think! Back To Blog
